Service Manager Benelux

Job description

Leading the core of the organization to future growth and results
  • As you will be the end responsible for all delivery on contracts, you’ll lead all operational and service activities within the Benelux. Your main objective is to guide the organization and improve on customer-, service-, operational, logistic, people- and financial management.
  • You are responsible for the coordination, prioritization and quality of services of 5 departments, including Internal Sales, Customer Service, Operations Support, Underground Equipment and Identification & Weighing Systems. These departments are located in Belgium (2 sites) and the Netherlands (3 sites).
  • You lead a team of operational managers and are in close contact with the 65 employees (technical, call center, maintenance, inside sales ...). You act as a role model and set open communication, active problem solving and creating a positive work environment as standards. You provide direction, support and regular feedback.
  • You realize an optimal customer experience. Together with your team, you make sure that the installation of new systems, all support activities towards customers (maintenance contracts, repairs, technical support, upgrades and invoicing services), all communication and logistics are done in an efficient and qualitative manner. You improve the organization’s structure and processes in order to meet current and future customer needs and achieve profitable contract execution.
  • In your role as sparring partner for the General Manager, you bring ideas to expand the portfolio of services or to update/improve the existing.
  • You report to the General Manager Benelux. You work closely together with your colleagues in Sales, Finance, HR, IT, etc.

Profile

People manager with entrepreneurial spirit
  • You have a master’s degree and at least some years of relevant experience in a B2C digitalised service focused environment. An additional MBA could be a plus, as well as experience in working with local authorities or waste management & collection companies.
  • You are both strategic and operational. You plan ahead to give your teams the processes, tools and self-confidence they need to be successful.
  • You are intelligent, ambitious and take ownership in making the right decisions, as well as in hands-on problem solving and change management. As a entrepreneur you reflect on business and results and you are acting with a strong customer-focus..
  • As an inspiring people manager, you create a culture of accountability, cooperation and continuous improvement.
  • You have excellent language skills in Dutch, English and French.
