Senior Business Development Manager - Institutional Clients

Job description

Working closely with the Head of Sales, the Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for client relationship management and client acquisition for professional and Institutional investors primarily in Belgium and Luxembourg (financial advisors/brokers, funds distributors, banks, insurance companies, pension funds, institutional investors) and more specifically:

? ?To acquire new assets by selling and distributing existing and upcoming investment funds, through the management and development of the existing client base, acting as the primary contact for a number of Belgium and Luxembourg based professional clients and supporting cross selling activities;

? ?To Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the investment strategies proposed by the company and represented across various asset classes

? ?To deal with ad-hoc enquiries from clients and prospects, in addition to frequent face-to-face meetings with clients on both a formal and informal basis;

? ?To develop effective working relationships with colleagues (including marketing, Foundation, product specialists) to effectively manage all aspects of the clients' requirements;


? ?University degree followed by a minimum of 5 years experience in the asset management/fund distribution industry, in a client facing position;

? ?Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Dutch, French and English

? ?Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster new relationships;

? ?Self-motivated; capable of coping with a fast growing/small structure company
