Regional Sales Manager

Job description

Develops sales plans and strategies in coordination with the Europe sales manager.

Delivers on sales targets.

Confers with sales representatives to develop sales objectives for market areas.

Recommends pricing strategies and promotional programs for key customers in assigned territory.

Maintains personal contact with key customers in assigned markets.

Recruits, interviews, and selects candidates for sales representative positions within assigned region in coordination with the Europe sales manager.

Holds responsibility for new agent training and development.

Analyses sales representative and direct selling activity and effects change as needed to sustain and continue growth.

Develops and implements management programs for major accounts.

Develops new business by finding opportunities in new technology and services and maintains existing business.

Establishes lasting, professional relationships with customer contacts. Meets regularly with customers, and is intimately familiar with their business plans.

Understands customer's local environment and identifies new technical applications suited to their needs.

Ensures that problems arising from sales are responded to and appropriately managed.

Actively updates account and sales management regarding changes to customer accounts.

Uses the sales systems and processes to document and communicate opportunities, market and competitive intelligence, customer information including: contacts, visit reports, etc.


Engineering education preferred (Chemistry Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,).

At least five years of Industrial Process Equipment - Field experience preferred.

Experience with vibrating / Gyratory separation equipment - preferred.

Valid motor vehicle operator's license. Willingness to travel extensively in assigned territory (30%).

Strong communication skills-verbal, presentation, and writing.

Require strong technical comprehension/understanding ability.

Interest in directing and guiding others-supervisory interest or skills.

Must be fluent in English language written and spoken. French, Russian, or Polish languages is a plus.
