Our client is a major player in the petrochemical industry. With over 50 years of experience, this growing company is currently looking for a catalyst manufacturing and industrialization manager for a position in the province of Hainaut.

Production Manager - Polyolefin catalysts projects

Job description

  • You get the opportunity to participate in construction activities and launch of a production unit for new catalysts
  • You manage a direct manufacturing team
  • You ensure the steady production of catalysts in compliance with the required specifications
  • You get the chance to implement a procedure and assess it
  • You ensure the successful implementation and standardization of QC/QA methods
  • You improve different processes in order to reduce costs and increase the production flow
  • You are the technical manager of all purchased catalysts
  • You work in close cooperation with the Supply Chain and R&D departments
  • You will often get the opportunity to travel abroad for short periods of time
  • You ensure the assessment of internal clients and other stakeholders in terms of performance


  • You hold a bachelor/master degree in a chemical discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • You have some experience in managing a catalyst operations team
  • You have already worked in cooperation with a research facility
  • You have a strong experience in scale-up and industrial manufacturing of catalysts
  • You have a good knowledge of polymerization
  • You have excellent leadership skills and you are autonomous
  • You are able to manage complex projects
  • You are fluent in English - French is an asset
