Job description

Our client is an independent think-and-do tank, located at the Rue Belliard in Brussels, whose purpose is rooted in its ability to inspire networks to provide evidence-based projects, research and campaigns in the areas of integration, migration and anti-discrimination.

For our client, an independant think tank whose purpose is to network to improve the areas of integration, migration and anti-discrimination on European level, we are looking for a part time Office Manager (19h / week). 

Your key responsibilities are:

- You will be responsible for general secretariat administration (filing, agenda management, timesheets, salary administration via the social secretariat, travel bookings, mail, email and answering telephone etc.);
- You will work with the social secretary to manage the basic human resources needs for your colleagues (holidays, sick leave, Sodexo, etc.);
- You will be in charge of the general office management  tasks (liaison with proprietor, IT services, insurances and other suppliers);
- You will provide support with preparation of Board documents.


For this role, we are looking for the following:

- You have a few years of experience in managing day-to-day administration;
- You have a basic knowledge of Belgian social law;
- You are fluent in English and French (additional languages are an asset);
- You have excellent organisational and administrative skills as well as literacy/numeracy skills;
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and internet;
- You have experience in event organisation and preparation;
- You are a team-player, are committed and flexible in your work;
- You are able to meet deadlines and follow through on your tasks;
- You can work independently and propose initiatives where appropriate;
- Tact, diplomacy and discretion are your second nature;
- You have great personal skills and are able to work with staff at all levels and from diverse backgrounds. 


You will receive a market-conform salary, a 13th month, meal vouchers and transportation reimbursement.
