This role has a dual reporting line. Primary reporting is to the Head of Business Development & Marketing Belgium, with a secondary reporting line to the Senior International Pitch Manager.
We operate a matrix management structure and the role holder will work with colleagues (both senior and junior) across the International business and in the Global Service Centre (GSC).
Marketing & BD Assistant contributes to new business generation by supporting pitches and other business development/sales opportunities and the associated administration of the pitch process. This is a role for the France-Benelux region and candidates will be required to support a number of different colleagues on a regional basis.
Key roles and responsibilities.
Completing pitch notification forms.
Gathering materials to support the pitch qualification process.
Setting up central filing structure and file materials.
Creating working drafts/templates and populate with standard information.
Coordinating the collation of materials including CVs and credentials.
Engaging other support functions (e.g. Finance, GSC, DP, Risk, Research, Design, Reprographics) and manage input to ensure timely delivery.
Reviewing drafts and ensuring compliance with pitch requirements.
Proof reading final pitch documents.
Adding final materials to central files.
Supporting project management/coordination of presentations including the preparation and delivery of presentation materials.
Follow-up on outstanding pitch outcomes and update InterAction.
Supporting the pitch debrief process and ensure feedback is captured and stored centrally.
Preparing handover checklist for successful pitches.
Sharing ideas on how the pitch process, approach and style can be improved.
Contributing to the development of general pitch content and promote pitch best practice to marketing colleagues.
Creating and maintain process documentation.
Ensuring that all relevant company standards and guidelines are met.
Contributing to the reports prepared by the team and/or requested by the manager.
Providing support for a variety of administrative tasks where necessary.
Contributing to a customer and team work oriented atmosphere in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
Assisting with other daily tasks assigned by the team manager.
