Hays IT is looking for an IT Software Support Engineer to join an international company active in Security and Access Solutions, and located in Groot-Bijgaarden. You will join a fast-moving company that puts the emphasis on their employees’s development through professional training.
- Minimum 2/3 years of experience in IT Support (ideally software)
- Good general IT skills, you will get specialised training
- Fluency in Dutch, French and English

Job description
In your job of IT Software Support, you will work on issues related to complex software provided by the company. You will therefore analyse the issues, find the appropriate answer and provide a long-term solution for the clients with whom you will be in contact. Depending on the request, you may closely work together with technical consultants to identify the possible solutions. Through on-the-job and professional training, you will become an expert for your customers.
Profile
To be successful in this job, we expect you to have an IT education as well as a minimum of 2/3 years’ experience in an IT support role. Thanks to your education and experience, you have acquired a general and broad knowledge of IT (hardware, software, programming, …) and you are eager to learn more. The knowledge of programming language, database or networking concepts is considered as a plus. People describe you as a strong listener/communicator and as a problem solver. You put the emphasis on the client’s satisfaction and you are constantly looking forward to further develop your skills. Finally, you can express yourself in Dutch, French and English.
