Senior GL Accountant - Automotive Sector

For a well-know company in the automotive sector, we are looking for a Senior GL Accountant who will directly report to the Accounting Manager.

The company is the exclusive distributor and retailer for a series of car brands in Belgium. They also provide spare parts and after-sales customer service.

With the upcoming massive changes in mobility, they have diversified their operations as they are now heavily investing in new solutions for their clients (B2B and B2C).

You will join a stable and multilingual team with a pleasant working atmosphere.

This position is located in Brussels

Senior GL Accountant - Your Tasks

You are in charge of a portfolio of different entities for which you manage the accounting from A to Z:

• Day to day accounting operations
• Monthly and yearly closings
• Internal Reporting to the Accounting Manager/CFO
• Tax returns (VAT, corporate tax returns)
• Involvement in the improvement of current internal processes

Senior GL Accountant - Your Profile

• At least a bachelor's degree in accounting
• 3 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English
• You are tech-savvy: you can easily get used to a new software. A previous use of SAP is a plus.

Senior GL Accountant - The Offer

The package will be based on your experience. You can expect a gross salary between 3,000€ and 4,000€. Furthermore, a series of extra-legal benefits are included in the package: meal vouchers, insurance, pension plan and a 13th month.

The company has a strong reputation in Belgium and it will provide you with a stable job. Furthermore, they are located in a pleasant neighbourhood not far away from the centre of Brussels. In the long run, homeworking is also an alternative, at least once a week.

Several subsidiaries are present in Belgium. You will be in charge of some of these. Your job will therefore be diversified, halfway to the one of an external accountant since you will manage a whole portfolio by yourself. This also allows you to further improve your accounting skills.
