Senior Advisor, Climate Action Plans

We bring almost 15 years of experience in measuring, reducing, and offsetting CO2 emissions as well as in lifecycle analyses, to provide a credible approach to CO2 neutrality. Job description
The Senior Advisor, Climate Action Plans will primarily support Belgian cities for the development of their climate action plans. He/she will assess the environmental footprint of the territory, set objectives and plans with the city leaders and stakeholders to reduce their climate impact.
He/she will also participate in CO2logic projects with Belgian and European institutions to calculate, reduce and offset their CO2 emissions.

Profile
- Master in Environment Management, Sustainable Development, Business Engineering, Public Administration, Urban or Land Use Planning
- 3 to 5-year experience in environmental advisory services
- Understanding of the climate, environmental and societal issues of the cities and public institutions
- Technical knowledge related to carbon foot printing and environmental management systems
- Able to organize and manage a project independently
- Team-focused communicator, fostering efficient collaboration both within the project and with clients and stakeholders
- Capacity to speak fluently, defend a project and debate in public
- Eager to develop valuable relations with cities leaders and stakeholders
- Practice of group facilitation techniques
- Engaged in actions against global warming and energy transition, either personally or professionally
- Fluent speaking and good writing in Dutch with an overall understanding of French
- Mastering the Microsoft Office suite, especially for data analysis and processing
