Sales Manager - Pharmaceutical Group - Services & Wholesales

Our client is a well-known actor, based in Brussels, in the Wholesales & distribution to the pharmacies.
Following their ambitions to become the leading pharmaceutical network they are currently looking for a new Sales Manager/Network Manager to sustain their growth and lead the team.

The mission of the network is to grow the economic & business performances of the pharmacies.
This via a consulting approach, offering Sales, Marketing, Buying & strategic advices to the partners.

Job description

As the successful Sales & Network Manager you will have the following responsibilities:

Main tasks:

  • Leading a team of 11 persons (Sales, Consulting, Logistics, Marketing, …)
  • Negotiation with the partners - pharmaceutical companies & laboratories
  • Growing & Developing the network of partners (private pharmacies, …)


  • Lead & Manage the team
  • Coach and develop the different team members in order to achieve the targets
  • Set up KPI's and reporting for the commercial & consulting team
  • Develop & implement a Sales strategy in order to sustain the growth of the business
  • Negotiated with the partners - pharmaceutical companies & laboratories -
  • Develop Marketing campaigns for the partners
  • Manage & define the product range
  • Maintain good relationship with the multiple partners
  • Develop new projects in order to help the partners - private pharmacies - to grow their market share
  • Develop the network & the number of partners (suppliers & members)
  • Collaborate closely with the buying team & the other entity of the group
  • Results follow-up and achievement of the team & the group in the assign region
  • Exchange best practice within the group


The successful Sales & Network Manager will have the following requirements:

  • At least a master Degree - preferably in Business Management or Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent by experience
  • At least 7 years' experience in the pharmaceutical world is mandatory
  • Proven experience in a managerial responsibility
  • Strong Negotiations & sales skills
  • A very good analytical mindset and a result driven personality
  • A Buying, Category Management or Wholesale experience will be considered as a strong asset
  • Fluent in French, Dutch & English
