Regulatory Affairs Manager

Job description

Your position: • You are responsible for leading the Regulatory Affairs team in ensuring product compliance and the effective registration of new and modified products.

Key responsibilities: • You develop, implement and coordinate regulatory work processes, while ensuring compliance with the policy lines and procedures • You coordinate the establishment of regulatory workflows and documentation management • You build a solid, efficient team and coach your team members to their individual goals, fostering a culture of ownership and continued quality improvement • You stimulate interaction between team members and facilitate knowledge sharing • By working in close collaboration with internal (sales, procurement, R&D, etc.) and external stakeholders (governmental authorities and consultants in the regulatory domain), you ensure a high level of efficiency in the regulatory process • By staying informed of developments and trends within the aquaculture regulatory field, you are able to provide the business with regulatory intelligence and strategic advice • You manage the budget for the Regulatory Department and report to the Product Director.


• You hold a master’s degree, and have at least 5 years of experience in a Regulatory Affairs role, preferably in a similar sector (feed, food, biotechnology, etc.) • You are an experienced people manager who acts as a coach and who acknowledges co-workers’ accomplishments • You are an open  communicator with solid organisational and time management skills • You are proficient in written and spoken English while knowledge of Dutch and/or Spanish is an asset • You have an international mindset and are willing to travel.
