Job description

Are you looking for a first experience for the automotive industry? Do you want to develop your skills in the field of Quality? Are you looking for a permanent job which will allow you to travel frequently and exchange in both French and English?

Our client active in the automotive sector is looking for a Quality Technician Automotive M/F, who will work under the responsibility of the Quality Manager.

Responsabilities:
Assists Quality Manager in the implementation and the update of the quality assurance system according to IATF 16949/ ISO 9001 and customer specific requirements. Has specific responsibilities as advanced Quality Engineer in project teams and complaints management.

1) Quality Assurance – Product and process Development:

  • Manage Customer quality planning aspects of defined projects, from RFQ until serial production.
  • Is key contact to follow and analyse the “customer specific requirements” evolutions
  • Is key contact for the customer and the supplier/production plant for all quality development topics until serial production
  • Develop quality tools at supplier e.g. control plans, Risk analysis, product controls

    2) Quality Assurance – Product and process Validation:
  • Support the defined projects regarding validation at customer, internally and at supplier/production plant
  • Maintain a quality follow up at the supplier ("Quality Status" by projects)
  • Follow and review Quality wall status at supplier's during SOP phase

    3) Complaints management:
  • Manage all aspects of customer and internal complaints for the customers he has responsibility.
  • Manage the Customer and internal databases, monitor the identified countermeasures at the suppliers, evaluate the efficiency of actions plans
  • Manage regular visits at suppliers' and customers' locations to develop relationships and establish a benefitial partnership with customers

Profile

  • Graduate / Bachelor in Mechanics or Chemie - Finished education in a technical or chemical area
  • Experience in automotive sector and / or experience in Quality (minimum 1 year)
  • Car driving license
  • Fluent in French and English (German, Spanish or Italian is a plus)

    Preferable:
  • Experience with moulded plastic parts
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 / ISO 45001

    Other qualifications:
  • Work with minimum of supervision
  • Good organisation skills
  • Team orientated
  • Communication skills
  • Flexibility (Frequent travels to customers and suppliers)
  • Stress resistant
