Project assistant/project coordinator

Job description

The project assistant/project coordinator will mainly be making phone calls to tenants to book appointments for several project steps. In addition, they will administer all written communication with the tenants and be the fixed point of contact for incoming calls. These mostly concern requests for information, requests for appointments etc. Finally, many of our contractors and installers do not speak Dutch, so some translation work on the spot will also be required.

The person will be trained by me and work closely with the Halle project manager, but will be granted significant autonomy over time. We will give them the opportunity to become one of the faces of the project and trust them with meaningful responsibilities.


The person we’re looking for must be fully fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English and French. Experience in a call center or in the social sector is a big plus.

Since the person’s main task is making phone calls and recording appointments and additional information, administrative discipline, confidence with Microsoft Office and good communication skills are key.





The contract lasts as long as there is significant activity on site (at least six months this year, but depending on whether we get new projects from our client in Halle).

Our project office is in Vogelweelde, so I hope to offer the position to someone who is looking for a job close to home.
