Job description
KATOEN NATIE Kallo is on the lookout for Order Pickers / warehouse workers—experience or not—for their terminal in Waaslandhaven (Kallo)!
When you sign up with Konvert, you'll be invited to a fun and informative introduction and training session at Katoen Natie, lasting around 4 hours. After successfully completing the training, you're ready to jump into action in one of the many operations.
While order picking is a key part of the job, you could also find yourself working in various departments like inventory, packaging, quality control, loading/unloading and more. Variety is the spice of life!
The work follows a two-shift system, with early shifts from 6 AM to 2 PM and late shifts from 2 PM to 10 PM. Depending on the needs of the operation, there may be different shift patterns available, and you’ll even have the chance to receive training on equipment like electric transpallet!
No experience? No worries! We're happy to train you from the ground up.
Worried about transportation? Don’t be! If you don’t have your own ride, we offer convenient private bus services from Antwerp, Merksem, Beveren, Sint-Niklaas, or you can hop on the waterbus (which departs as early as 5 AM) to get to the terminal without hassle.
With all this, Katoen Natie's terminal is super accessible—come join the team!
Profile
As a candidate we expect:
- to be a hands-on type who knows how to get stuff done, rather tired than lazy.
- to have a good Knowledge of English (spoken and written).
- you to be able to work in a two shift system (early 06-14 and late 14-22)
Offer
As a warehouse employee at Katoen Natie:
- You start your work with interim contracts, option to permanent contract in the longer term.
- You will receive weekly payments accordance with the logistics scales, extended with shift bonus (16,75 incl. shift bonus), meal- and eco-vouchers.
- Possibility to private transport from Antwerp ( Sint-Jansplein), Merksem ( Stella Marisstraat), Beveren, Sint-Niklaas ( central station) or relocation with the waterbus Antwerp Steenplein or Sint-Anna Linkeroever.
