Job description

Talc products produced at Gent are widely recognized as among the highest quality talc-based products on the market for paper, paints, plastics, rubber, ceramics, agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals and soap.
The jobholder supervises and reports on activities to improve & develop the operational performance of the talc facility in Gent.
Primary purpose
+ The delivery service communicates the requirements to production and organises transport to the customer, to meet committed delivery times.

    Accountabilities
  • KPI follow up: not only follow up, also to understand how the KPI's are build and set corrective actions to drive them.
  • Assures correct documentation for outbound logistics (CMR, invoice, customs papers etc.)
  • Pay attention to their own safety and the safety of all persons, who work at the location, and demands the compliance of the guidelines.
  • Guarantees and promotes a safe and healthy work environment
  • Ensures compliance with corporate standards and laws as far as production, quality, labor law and environmental protection are concerned.
  • Reports incidents and accidents according to the Group Reporting Guidelines
  • Participates in training, conducts safety talks and actively participates in risk analyzes.
  • Track its current environmental, health, safety and quality goals
  • Works on continuous improvement, participates in idea management
  • Strive to meet the requirements of internal and external customers
  • Supports the crisis management team as part of his / her role Problem solving
  • Where truck drivers do not follow on-site procedures request they comply.
  • Identify any differences between theoretical and physical stock levels and inform production in order to adjust in ERP.
  • If production is not available to meet committed delivery time; identify the best solution with Production and Customer Service.
  • If the haulier cannot meet the committed collection; identify the best solution with a haulier and Production

Profile

Education & qualifications
  • College/university education
  • Bachelor in administration or equal through experience
    Relevant experience
  • + 5 year relevant professional experience in logistic administration
