The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Country Marketer for Belgium/Netherlands within the Medical Surgical (MedSurg) Division at Solventum, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and increasing market penetration. Your key responsibilities will include leveraging our solutions to engage both existing and potential customers. Collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Western Europe (WE) Marketing Manager, WE Portfolio Marketers, Country Sales Manager, and the local Sales & Clinical teams, will be essential to your success
Key Responsibilities include:
As the Country Marketer for Belgium/Netherlands within the Medical Surgical (MedSurg) Division at Solventum, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and increasing market penetration. Your key responsibilities will include leveraging our solutions to engage both existing and potential customers. Collaboration with key stakeholders, including the Western Europe (WE) Marketing Manager, WE Portfolio Marketers, Country Sales Manager, and the local Sales & Clinical teams, will be essential to your success
Key Responsibilities include:
- Campaign implementation: Localize and execute integrated marketing campaigns tailored to the Belgian/Dutch market.
- Demand generation: Lead efforts to generate qualified leads, develop local communication strategies, and manage participation in relevant events and congresses.
- Marketing planning: Contribute to the marketing planning process and take ownership of the annual marketing activity calendar for Belgium/Netherlands.
- Market insights: Continuously monitor and gather insights on market trends, customer needs, and industry developments to inform marketing strategies.
- Budget Management: Oversee and track the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal departments, including marketing, sales and clinical teams to align on objectives with overall business goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support business initiatives.
Profile
To succeed in this role, Solventum seeks candidates who possess the following qualifications:

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a product management or country marketing role within the healthcare industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the Belgian/Dutch healthcare system.
- Proven expertise in marketing planning, product launches, and the execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong organizational and influencing skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to cultivate effective relationships across teams.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French
Preferred Skills:
- Fluent English, Dutch and French is a plus
- Affinity with digital marketing strategy and techniques
- Working experience in both hospital and out of hospital markets (e.g. home care providers, pharmacies, general practitioners
Work location:
- Hybrid Eligible: Hybrid eligible, with a combination of remote work and in-office presence required at the Brussels/Den Haag office (2 days per week)
Travel:
- The role may involve up to 25 % domestic travel, with occasional international travel as needed
