Job description

As an ICT Manager, your role will be to organize, structure, control and encrypt all the activities of the different local IT sections and to coordinate the implementation of the group’s projects or policies for the other sites in Europe. You will work on the constant development and optimization of the work of the IT team members, of the hardware, software and communication solutions implemented or to be deployed. The aim will be to ensure that European offices and all our customers have the best IT tools to effectively meet their needs. You will coordinate and manage some joint projects with the IT department of our parent company in Japan in order to facilitate all Europe-Japan communications and to allow the evolution of the company and their customers with serenity.

Management strategy

Translating, converting the overall management strategy into concepts, projects and technical operations.

Develop the department’s 3-year strategy (management, technology choices, outsourcing, roadmap, investment plan, etc.).

Management of the team

Develop a motivating management and manage a multi-disciplinary team (infra, security, integration, h/d...) that will be supported by external partners/consultants in order to develop its technical and relational skills.

Ensure the required level of service provided (in terms of quality, cost, and time).

Budget Management

Develop and monitor IT budgets in cooperation with the Finance Department and ensure that the IT component of business requests is properly identified, assessed, and integrated into the budget.

Project management and priorities

Ensure the implementation and monitoring of multiple projects at European level.

Monitor and coordinate resources (human, material, financial, etc.) to ensure the smooth running of projects in accordance with the defined plan.

Implement, deliver and support IT solutions:

Propose IT governance at European level.

Make recommendations in terms of IT architecture.

Improve and optimize IT processes related to activities and ensure compliance with their application by teams.

Information Management

Ensures the security, confidentiality, integrity, efficiency, and availability of information held within computer systems.

Management of partners and suppliers:

Study, analyze and select carefully, in collaboration with the Purchasing department, trusted partners and suppliers, and assist in the negotiation of construction and maintenance contracts.

Information and communication:

Ensure that communication and reporting to the business is efficient (both tactical and operational).

Gather and synthesize all data related to the proposed projects and services in order to keep users or partners informed by highlighting performance indicators.

Strategic & technological intelligence:

Ensure technology watch to be able to offer and implement innovative solutions for our internal customers

Profile

Profile :

Master’s degree in IT, management (with IT orientation) or equivalent acquired through experience.

Experience :

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position: > 20 people, multi-site, management of various teams (infrastrucure, applications, security, helpdesk, development,…
  • Ideally : experience in an industry (production 24/7)
  • IT governance and architecture (infrastructure, databases, applications, data marts & BI)
  • Implementation and improvement of IT processes (strategic alignment, implementation of value-added solution, management of IT resources, performance measurement).
  • Management of infrastructure or application projects (migration, internal development, etc.), agile method,
  • Management of IT services: improvement of existing processes and service, KPI, internal SLA, etc.
  • Supplier management: partnership development, SLA negotiation & contracts
