Maintenance Engineer Inspection & Integrity
Position
You manage (define, plan, organise, assess) the legal and company defined inspections and strategies for the rotating and static equipment and maintenance tools for the Tessenderlo plants in order to guarantee continuity of the manufacturing process.
You manage (define, plan, organise, assess) the mechanical maintenance requirements (preventive and predictive) for rotating (pumps, …) and static equipment (tanks, columns, piping, …)
You advise on continuous improvement mechanical maintenance programs and align these with the asset and maintenance engineers.
You manage a team of committed employees, coaching and training them so that they can use their competencies, skills and knowledge to deliver the best performance of the maintenance function.
You keep current on all relevant technological advancements and developments in the industry, and act as a technical expert on mechanical inspections and preventive/predictive mechanical maintenance.
You ensure that internal processes, procedures and safety regulations are followed so that the safe and correct delivery of maintenance policies can be guaranteed.
You ensure SHE and ISO guidelines (ISO 500001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) are adhered to.
You report to the Central Maintenance & Engineering Manager, Central maintenance.
Profile
You will preferably have a Master’s degree in Electro mechanics, mechanical engineering, material engineering and will have already have gained min. 8 years relevant experience (e.g. welding engineer, reliability engineer, material engineer, inspection engineer, asset engineer …).
Knowledge of processes and tools associated with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt) is an added value.
You like to solve technical problems and you have a good knowledge of production processes.
You have a good knowledge about methods to control the asset integrity such as RBI, RCM.
You have a good knowledge of inspection programs and NDT-techniques and knowledge of Vlarem legislation is a definite plus.
You have a good knowledge of general mechanics and materials.
You are an experienced people manager, who is enthusiastic and can motivate a team (approximately 10 FTE’s).
You have a well-developed sense of safety, demonstrate a strong safety attitude, and are able to develop these traits in your team.
Key personal characteristics would include: analytical, team player, cost efficiency, initiative, organisation, social ability, self-starting and stress resistant.
In addition to Dutch, you have a good knowledge of English.
