To strengthen the team, we are recruiting an International After-Sales Service Technician. The head office of the company is located in Walloon Brabant.

Job description

Under the supervision of the Service & Maintenance Team Manager, you are responsible for the technical support of a product line for a specific market, for customers in Belgium and all over the world.

Your tasks are as follows:

In Belgium :

You provide remote technical support to different customers

You train and assist the site managers and technicians who carry out the complete installations

You are responsible for the management of start-up aid tools, and you follow the orders of spare parts

You communicate to the manager the possible improvements for technical breakdowns/improvements consolidation

You participate exceptionally in meetings for the Prevention Plan on site

You prepare future trips

International :

You provide technical support and perform troubleshooting at the customer's site

You install the equipment and adapt the equipment already on site

You inform sales representatives of the opportunities detected

In general :

You write intervention reports with care before having them signed by the client as well as the expert reports

You carry out a customer satisfaction survey

You always wear your personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the activities in progress and you ensure the work area marking

You communicate in real time to the customer non-compliance with the access instructions to the work area.


You ideally hold a technical degree (electromechanical or electricity, min A2)

You have at least 2 years of experience as an after-sales technician in electromechanics

You have good knowledge of electricity

VCA certification is a plus, you are willing to train if needed

You master the Microsoft Office suite and you have a learning capacity to develop yourself on specific tools

You have a perfect command of French and English (reading, writing, speaking), knowledge of Spanish is an asset

You are flexible, resourceful and able to work independently

You are pragmatic, solution-oriented and organized

You have good communication skills, with all types of personalities and have a team spirit

You are willing to travel abroad (up to 60-70% of the time in the month) and you are extremely flexible regarding departures (speed of departure) and duration of trips (several days). Some trips will be outside the European area
