Audi Brussels is a production site located at the heart of Europe and part of the Audi Group. We started to produce the A1 in 2010. As of 2018, Audi Brussels is the very first Audi-site to produce an all-electric car, the Audi e-tron, but also its high voltage battery.

The Real Estate engineering department is responsible for the development of the plant infrastructure, in order to make the plant sites, real estate and energy facilities necessary for production available as efficiently as possible.

To strengthen this team, we are looking for experienced project managers in construction, electrical and HVAC with a clear vision of construction techniques and building technologies, who are prepared to lead both local and international projects in other Audi plants.

Infrastructure Project Leader

Job description

  • You are responsible for the design and development of infrastructure equipment within Audi plants, with the main task of leading these projects from concept to implementation.
  • You take a coordinating role at the operational level for the design of technical infrastructure equipment, with a focus on efficiency, innovative techniques and the environment.
  • You draft and keep up to date framework contracts and define execution standards for Audi Brussels.
  • You will manage the study assignment from design to delivery and handover to the internal customer. In addition to design, planning and supervision, your tasks will also include advising, supporting and coordinating external design offices and execution companies.
  • Within the perspective of reducing CO2 emissions, you will be responsible for researching and implementing new sustainable technologies within our plants.

Profile

  • You have a master degree in your field of specialisation (construction, electricity or HVAC).
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in managing and coordinating large-scale projects in an industrial environment within a design office or the engineering department of an installer.
  • Knowledge of applicable infrastructure standards, as well as Belgian standards and software for the preparation of measurements is required.
  • You have excellent computer skills (Outlook, MS Office, MS Project, Microstation).
  • You are technically driven, committed and have a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Language skills: in addition to English, you are fluent in at least two of the three national languages and are willing to learn the third.
  • You are flexible and open to taking on local as well as international projects in other Audi plants.
