HR Payroll & Administration Officer

Job description

As HR Payroll & Administration Officer, you will be responsible for payroll and HR administration. You support the HR Business Partners with all HR administration to provide a professional, correct, accurate and timely service to the employees.

  • You are responsible for a correct payroll administration in different countries, i.e. prepare and revise monthly pay runs (blue & white collars, expats), act as SPOC for payroll agencies and align payroll with accounting.

  • Time Registration: you coordinate and follow up on bookings, register absences, check anomalies in system and assist employees with questions.

  • Contract administration: you prepare labour contracts and addenda and register new employees in system(s).

  • You coordinate the process of new hires/leavers and keep the personnel files up to date.

  • You prepare social documents and assist all employees with questions on social legislation.

  • Expat administration and support: you assist the expats with the administration upon their arrival in Belgium and when they return to their home country.

  • Temp administration: you complete the weekly time registration forms for all temps, you are first point of contact for temp agencies.

  • You prepare several HR reports and yearly documentation with regards to year end closings, social balance, etc.

  • You provide specialist input for all compensation and benefits issues/projects.

  • Further, you assist in the preparation of training plans, the recruitment process and

    you participate in recruitment administration.

  • You assist the HR Business Partners in all possible projects.

Profile

  • You have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years proven payroll experience in Belgium (blue-white collars + expatriates). Comprehension of Partena level 5 and Protime is an added value.

  • Some experience with international payroll, experience with expat administration is a plus.

  • Your knowledge of Belgian social legislation is excellent.

  • You are fluent in spoken and written English and Dutch. Good knowledge of French is an asset.

  • You are a computer literate with excellent knowledge of Excel and Word.
