For our client active in the TECHNICAL SECTOR, we are looking for an EXPORT ASSISTANT in Kortenberg.

 

As an EXPORT ASSISTANT, you are responsible for providing accurate information via e-mail to promote the company’s products as a preferred brand to end customers.

Your varied responsibilities include:

• Daily contact with customers via e-mail

• Providing accurate advice to dealers (prices, promotions, availability, delivery status, etc.)

• Ensuring correct entry of orders into the inventory system on a daily basis

• Order follow-up (RMA, complaints, pricing, back orders, etc.)

• Preparing proforma invoices based on Excel data

• Checking and recording purchase invoices in the inventory system in preparation for receiving goods in the warehouse

• Verifying various documents (transport documents, certificates of origin, certificates of conformity, EUR1, etc.)

• Monitoring delivery times and prices, taking action where necessary

• Performing general administrative tasks to support the department
  
   

Our ideal EXPORT ASSISTANT has the following qualities:

• Customer-oriented, problem-solving team player

• Ability to work accurately

• Knowledge of customs regulations, customs tariff codes, and excise regulations

• Preferably familiar with Incoterms, with some technical understanding and affinity with the product range

• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)

• Solid knowledge and practical experience with MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
