Job description

The responsibilities for this function as Executive and Finance Assistant are:

Executive and administrative assistance (60%)

  • You are responsible of the Executive Director's agenda and inbox;
  • You prepare, organise and coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and expense tracking;
  • You provide administrative support to other members of the team as needed.

Financial administration (30%)

  • You are the person in charge of keeping accurate and regular accounting records;
  • You maintain monthly and yearly accounting controls .
  • You manage cash flow and monitor expenditure;
  • You complete bank reconciliations;
  • You assist the Head of Finance with payment processing, audit preparations and financial reporting.

Organisational development (10%)

  • Actively participate in meetings and the general assembly,…

The required qualifications for the position as Executive and Finance Assistant are:

  • You have a business related degree or equivalent work experience;
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English and French;
  • You have a few years of experience as a financial and/or administrative assistant;
  • You are an advanced user of MS Office and Google applications;
  • You have excellent communication and organisational skills;
  • You take initiative and are a quick learner;
  • You are a team player;
  • You pay attention to details and are motivated.
