Maintaining and growing the business of existing accounts and developing new business relationships, implies that frequent travel is part of the job.

Job description

OPPORTUNITY
The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales professional (m/f) with strong communication skills and a ‘can-do’ mentality who can quickly take on commercial responsibility for existing accounts and who disposes of strategic prospecting skills to develop new opportunities in the Biocide Industry. Selling biocides means operating in a highly regulated industry, hence the ideal candidate comes with a sound dose of responsibility and integrity.

Your mission
  • In the territories that will be assigned to you:
       * Actively prospect & develop new business opportunities.
       * Create, develop and grow a strong sales pipeline.
       * Maintain & grow the business at existing accounts.
       * Manage a number of key accounts.
       * Participate at/visit trade shows and represent Limaru on
          your local markets.
  • Implement price, margin and product strategies in line with Limaru’s long-term strategic growth plan;
  • Take up responsibility for the delivery of budgeted turnover and commercial margin;
  • Address technical and regulatory inquiries from our customers (with support of our partners’ R&D/technical teams and with assistance of Limaru’s regulatory department);
  • Develop strong working relationships with our strategic principals;
  • Provide feedback and input to the Managing Director and to Business Development about new business opportunities, competitor strategy, new market trends, product development and changing customer behavior.

Profile

Your qualifications & skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently;
  • Ideally 3-5 years’ of relevant and practical experience in a technical or commercial B2B role;
  • Bachelor/Master degree in relevant economic or scientific discipline;
  • Perfect command of English and French. Preferably Dutch-speaking (but not a prerequisite). Mastering at least one or more Eastern European languages (Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Slovak, Romanian, etc.) is a strong plus;
  • Strong business acumen with “hands on”- and “can do”- mentality;
  • Dynamic and persistent personality with the ability to “get things done”;
  • Commercial and result-oriented thinker;
  • Customer-satisfaction minded: willingness to tackle and solve customer inquiries in a consequent and focused manner;
  • Able to adapt to new requirements and able to demonstrate a high level of flexibility;
  • Very organized, creative and focused on meeting principal expectations;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
  • Team-player, but also comfortable with working independently.
