Job description
You work in a functional organization responsible for broadly supporting the environmentalsafety and sustainabilityprograms for Drylock. You will be leading the development of appliedenvironmentalscience, environmentalstewardship, and sustainability in Zele.
As the Coordinator sustainability & environment you will be:
Implementing, executing, and managing the practical aspects of the protection of environmental and product stewardship in the Drylock hygiene business
Making product safety and environmental protection part of the life cycle of our products and production process
Defining the practical approach towards new and existing regulations, directives, labels and industry standards on product and raw material level in collaborations with suppliers and external labs.
Acting as representative in global industry association (e.a. Edana) and external stakeholders.
Acting as the technical knowledge center to support business categories, innovation initiatives, customers and external toxicological labs.
Assisting the development of circular economy such as Cradle to Cradle process, LCA and sustainability labelling as EU-Ecolabel, Blau Angel etc.

Profile
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical or environmental sciences / engineering, (bio)chemistry and/or related subdisciplines
Experience in regulatory business and frameworks – REACH is a plus
Broad interest in chemicals / legislation and circular economy
Flexible and agile workings spirit
Taking ownership with a critical and meticulous attitude
Organizational skills to handle short tasks in parallel with long term vision
Fluent in Dutch and English - Basic knowledge of French
3-5 years of experience in a similar position is a plus
Open for 10-20% travelling
