The EQUANS Offshore division in Hoboken is looking for a Commercial Support Representative.
As Commercial Support Representative, you will play a key role in our Sales and Tendering team. You will support the team in a commercial role, assisting with commercial activities and representing our company towards the outside world. You will also be an important part in helping us understand the international market conditions within our segment of offshore wind industry and give insights into our competition.
As Commercial Support Representative, you will play a key role in our Sales and Tendering team. You will support the team in a commercial role, assisting with commercial activities and representing our company towards the outside world. You will also be an important part in helping us understand the international market conditions within our segment of offshore wind industry and give insights into our competition.
Your main duties will be:
- support the team with general commercial activities
- maintain client tendering portals and reviewing them for suitable opportunities
- assist in organising sales and marketing activities, including trade shows and conferences. This will involve occasional (inter)national travel
- assist with the creation/improvement of supporting documentation for tenders
- the development and upkeep of a robust marketing and competitor intelligence system
- the development and upkeep of an overview of upcoming tenders, their stakeholders and timing
- the development and upkeep of an overview of internal projects in progress, tenders in progress and tenders expected, including their timing
- you will be responsible to present information from the overviews you maintain and give your recommendations on future tenders and their suitability for our organisation towards different levels of management to help support strategic decision-making
Profile
Are we a match?
- bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, communications or similar) with 3-5 years of related industry experience
- detailed knowledge of MS Office software
- professional and mature approach with the ability to comfortably interact with all levels including Senior Management
- good analysis skills, including the ability to draw appropriate conclusions from a large amount of data and to present accurate and well-supported findings
- proven organizational and time management skills are required, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- good interpersonal skills - is articulate, demonstrates good verbal, presentation and written communication skills, and high attention to detail. A suitably confident team player who can co-ordinate across multiple teams
- willing to occasionally travel internationally to clients and Trade shows/conferences
- fluent in English (both written and spoken). A working proficiency in either Dutch or French is a benefit, but not required. Any other languages are a bonus
