Biorepository Manager

Job description

Plan, delegate, and resolve issues pertaining to basic elements of sample management in Biorepository service;
Ensure efficient, effective and compliant operations;
Provides technical and operational oversight with staff to ensure client/business needs are met;
In collaboration with area head, works to develop short and long term strategies to meet objectives;
Represent Sample Management/Biorepository department at company meetings;
Promotes effective and professional working relations with customers and stakeholders;
Revise and implement new policies and procedures for sample archive area;
Prepare and manage Spreadsheets for area supply spend, accurate specimen counts, equipment management;
Implement changes to work processes;
Promote safe working environment within sample archive area;
Maintain patient and sponsor confidentiality at all times;
Participate in new business opportunities where appropriate and implement cost-effective processes as those opportunities are advanced.

Profile

Master or Bachelor's degree and 7 years of laboratory experience;
Teamplayer;
Departmental management skills.
