AWS Cloud Engineer
Job description
The objective of this project is to augment our existing cloud engineering team with additional cloud engineers who are well[1]versed in AWS technologies. The new team members will be crucial in transitioning, optimizing, and expanding our existing cloud infrastructure. They will liaise with various internal teams to provide a robust and efficient cloud-based environment, helping the organization to achieve operational excellence.
1. New Project Infrastructure and Pipeline Development: Lead in the development of infrastructure and pipelines for new projects within our dynamic ecosystem, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and security guidelines.
2. Cybersecurity Enhancement: Work in with the cybersecurity team to identify and mitigate critical security issues in our legacy environment. This role requires proactive collaboration with various development teams.
3. Terraform Modules Development: Continue the development of reusable Terraform modules, specifically tailored for infrastructure teams such as Database, Linux, and Windows. Ensure these modules are robust, efficient, and scalable to meet the diverse needs of our infrastructure.
4. Transversal Services: Design and develop cross-departmental cloud services, ensuring they adhere to organizational standards for scalability, reliability, and security. This role demands a strong understanding of various departmental needs and the ability to create solutions that bridge functional gaps effectively.

1. AWS Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc. Experience with AWS security best practices is also essential.
2. Terraform: Strong proficiency in writing, testing, and maintaining Terraform code. Should be able to build modular and reusable Terraform configurations.
3. DevOps and CI/CD: Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines, preferably with experience in GitHub or similar tools.
4. Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively, spanning from network configurations to application-level issues.
5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary as the role involves interacting with different teams across the organization.
6. Azure Knowledge (Optional): Understanding of Azure services and infrastructure would be a plus but is not a hard requirement.
7. Team Collaboration: Experience with collaborative tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
