Accounting & Reporting Officer (M/F) - Brussels

Job description

As an Accounting & Reporting Officer, you report directly to the Head of Finance and you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Preparation and production of the financial accounts and tax returns in compliance with laws, accounting & tax rules and the company's procedures in a secure internal control environment;
  • Monitor cash balances, cash forecasts and manage banking relationships;
  • Preparation of external audit works and coordination of relationship with external auditors;
  • Manage the different company's entities and third parties to which accounting, tax and finance matters have been outsourced;
  • Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives, monitoring of strategic business plan and management of the budget cycles;
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile;
  • Coordination of the accounting work: monthly closing process, daily treasury management and control, customer and supplier clearing, supervision of tax declarations, etc.;
  • Encoding and update of financial data in financial systems and tools;
  • Production of various financial reports: treasury report, ageing balance, etc.

Profile

The qualifications needed as an Accounting & Reporting Officer are the following:

  • A Bachelor degree in Accounting;
  • An experience of minimum 5 years in a similar function;
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English, Dutch is an asset;
  • A very good knowledge of Excel and an experience with an ERP;
  • You are available;
  • You are rigorous, proactive and dynamic;
  • You have a good team spirit.
