Job description

  • You are responsible for all commercial activities within the electronic retail channel, more specifically the independent shops and buying groups.
  • You are responsible for the P&L of the ERT channel and, together with management, you define the commercial strategy. You come up with new ideas and act as a soundboard.
  • Together with your team, you translate the sales strategy into specific goals and plans for all your clients, in close cooperation with marketing, customer activation, etc.
  • You manage brand and product implementation and guide your team in these matters: line-up, introduction of new products, promotion, customer marketing and investment management. If necessary, you adjust product ranges as well as delivery and contract conditions.
  • You manage a team of Account Managers (3) and coach them towards achieving their objectives. You monitor their commercial activities at shop level and encourage them to grow the business and identify new opportunities.
  • You work in close cooperation with the other departments within Miele.
  • You report to the Sales Director.


  • You preferably have a master's degree or equivalent by experience.
  • You have a vast commercial experience and have managed a significant sales revenue.
  • You have a sales mindset, strive for client satisfaction and aim for sustainable results and growth.
  • You possess strong analytical skills, Excel has no secrets and knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • You are an enthusiastic coach and motivator for your team. You communicate in an open and respectful manner and help your team members develop.
  • You are a good communicator and know how to inspire clients and co-workers. You encourage cooperation and teamwork.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
