Job description

Your mission
  • establishes fleet Equipment Qualification Program governances: EQ Design process, EQ Establishing process, EQ Preserving process (RSQs-EQF), EQ upgrading process, Technological Obsolescence process,
    Grade dedication process, reverse engineering process
  • establishes the fleet strategy to implement (develop or improve) the equipment and qualification program. In particular, responsible:
    • to establish the fleet roadmap accountable for the three next year : the roadmap details the improvement and development projects and their priorities for the EQO programs
    • to report to the management on its correct execution and to propose alternatives or mitigation plan in case of deviation
  • oversight the correct execution of the governances on site by performing “spot check”, periodical self-assessment, deep dives, and by participating to related committee (site Obsolescence committee,…)
  • optimize the efficiency of EQO program by analyzing the results from audits, selfassessment’s, KPI, management review,…
  • support the implementation of EQ program:
    • identifies and proposes good practices (from sites or from external utilities) to implement
    • identifies synergies from both sites, and initiate a “fleet” project/action if relevant Provides a listing of EQ special maintenance, parts replacement and repair requirements along with associated special requirements for their implementation
  • provides “expertise” in EQ domain (in-house consultant) to those working on plant programmes or activities that may impact EQ
  • manage the Obsolescence Program:
    • coordination of resources for the Obsolescence solutions development for the fleet
    • provides tools to manage Obsolescence Program
    • solve specific fleet obsolescence issues
  • chairman of the Fleet Technological Obsolescence Committee and Qualification of QA suppliers and goods Committee
  • coordinates fleet EQ problematics:
    • fleet approach when Doel or Tihange facing QA issues for common suppliers or goods
    • proposes and develops solution/strategy to fleet obsolescence issues together with OEM contractors and hand-over it to development/realization team (with support of internal or external expert)
  • coordinates/supports or performs multi-disciplinary peer reviews, audits related to EQ (SALTO, WENRA TPR,…)
  • ensures the contact with the safety authorities & validates the commitments and their prioritization together with the sites EQO representatives
  • supports, monitors resource allocation processes related to EQO by encouraging and identifying fleet synergies and captures “on site” problems to highlight them to the Nuclear Management
  • captures related information coming from the regulation watch with the RWC (Regulation Watch Committee) and other relevant OE and define/implement actions when needed together with the Ageing Site representatives
  • oversight fleet EQO budget and ensure that budget is optimized
  • elaborates a training program related to EQ and Obsolescence and gives some training sessions (in support of EQO Site representative)
  • participates to international conferences and committees related to the EQO topics and peers reviews 


  • you have minimum 3 years of experiences in the nuclear field (experience in the domain of EQO is a must)
  • you are bilingual Dutch/French (English is a must)
