The Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium (ITM – www.itg.be
) is one of the world's leading institutes for advanced research, postgraduate training and expert assistance in tropical medicine and public health. Under the motto "Excellence and Relevance", ITM works with scientific institutions, governments and organisations worldwide towards scientific progress and better health in low- and middle-income countries. ITM also houses a specialised outpatient clinic and the full scope of administrative and logistical support services. It has annual revenues of € 60 million and employs over 400 staff.
