This international 3PL company located in Antwerp is looking for a credit controller/analyst to join their team. You will be working in a team of 3 people, reporting directly to the European Finance Manager and serving all the European entities of the group.

Tasks and responsibilities

Credit Control (50%)

  • Evaluate incoming credit requests on new and existing customers from the branches across Europe in a dynamic credit control system.
  • Follow the existing procedures regarding credit control but allow a certain degree of flexibility for any grey zones.
  • Monitor existing customers and adjust credit limits as risk indicators change.
  • Cooperate with US colleagues to monitor worldwide accounts.

Credit Reporting (40%)

  • Maintain and send weekly credit reports to the branch network to inform them on outstanding AR positions and possible risks.
  • Maintain and send a monthly risk report to European leadership that shows the general status of the customer base and shows overviews of the total risk for the group.
  • Develop other reports that will improve working capital.

Credit and Data Management (10%)

  • Develop new SOP's to be used in the branch network to improve the OTC and DSO. This also includes taking a closer look at invoice cycles, payment terms and payment behavior.
  • Maintaining the current data management of the customer base - placing them in the right company hierarchy and assigning them properly in the CRM database.


  • Academic degree within business and/or economics
  • 3+ years of experience in Credit Control, Reporting or similar
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must.
  • Strong Excel skills combined with a thorough knowledge of the full MS Office package.
  • Good planning skills and good team player
  • No 9 to 5 mentality
