Claims Management Assistant

Job description

  • You will report to the Legal and Claims Coordinator and closely collaborate with the Legal Counsels from your department.

  • You will ensure the administrative management of various litigation files, including contacts with external clients in an international environment.

  • You will carry out the calculations and simulations in order to monitor these files in terms of maturity schedules, debt restructurings, net values, etc.

  • You will gather debtor information and prepare various reportings for internal clients.

  • You will offer administrative support to the team of Legal Counsels where forfaiting is concerned.

Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, possibly with a specialisation in finance & insurance, law (or equivalent) and you may have a first professional experience.

  • Your native language is Dutch, you have a sufficient knowledge of French and you’re proficient in English, both in speech and in writing.

  • You have an analytical and a critical mind and are good at summarising information.

  • You are result-oriented and you take initiative in order to solve problems.

  • You have good communication skills and are familiar with the MS Office applications.

  • You like working autonomously, yet you also show team spirit.
