We also provide full energy management services for customers' buildings, as well as facility services (such as telephony management, catering, cleaning, handymen, maintenance of green areas and much more) for many organisations and companies.

Job description

Your mission
  • the Chief Information Officer will assume the following responsibilities:
    • within the framework defined at Group and BU levels, act as a “full” CIO, steering and accountable for Governance, Demand and Delivery for all Digital/IT related domains (technology, urbanism, cybersecurity, asset management,…). The entity CIO is a member of the Benelux IS management team headed by the Benelux CIO
    • ensure that all Digital/IT activities within the Entity Business perimeter are under control
    • define the optimal Entity Digital/IT organization
    • ensure that the strategies (Digital/IT and Business) are optimally aligned
    • translate strategy into realizations and achieve commitments
    • ensure mandatory Processes are defined and respected: Security, Income, Audits, Licenses, Finance & Controlling, Data Protection,…
    • accelerate the digitalization of the Entity: in its dealings with customers, in its services/solutions/products, but also in its internal activities
    • animate the relevant communities and contribute to a cultural change 
  • the Chief Information Officer will operate in the following interaction network:
    • internal interfaces with: Heads of Entity Business departments & other key Business players, Digital/IT BU corporate teams, Digital/IT internal suppliers, Digital/IT communicties (BU & Group), Business Development & Innovation teams (BU & Group),…
    • external interfaces: Digital/IT suppliers & Communities, external customers,…
  • the main activities of the Chief Information Officer will be:
    • help the Business setting the strategic directions the Entity will take
    • with these strategic directions & Group and BU frameworks in mind: co-develop and roll out the Entity Digital/IT roadmap in close cooperation with the Business and Functional Lines (Finance, HR,…):
      • keep an overview of all Digital/IT solutions owned and used by users of the Entity (even if not delivered by the IT department)
      • organize structured Digital/IT demand collection and translate into optimal (architecture/value/costs) Digital/IT supply (projects and run)
      • when relevant, challenge the Business requirements
      • contribute to the Group & BU transversal programs
    • ensure market watch and anticipate technological evolutions
    • contribute to the Digital & IT communities
    • ensure that appropriate actions are taken and resources are available to achieve compliance with Group and Benelux cybersecurity policies:
      • ensure that cybersecurity related deliverables are available and verified within projects and change processes
      • ensure cybersecurity awareness actions are triggered on a regular base
      • foresee the needed budgets (when applicable) to guarantee that the Group and Benelux cybersecurity program gets deployed within the Entity perimeter
    • keep track of comprehensive Digital/IT budgets for all Digital/IT run and projects used by the Entity
    • ensure transparency of underlying cost elements towards the Entity and the BU
    • ensure operational efficiency through continuous improvement, propose and execute IT cost optimization actions
    • ensure license compliance through complete view on Digital/IT license subscription rights and use
  • the Chief Information Officer will take up the following challenges:
    • from strategy to execution: capacity to “zoom in” & “zoom out” very easily
    • complex (heavy) decentralized organization to transform
    • creative, flexible, stress resistant: person must show high agility and be able to adapt his/her attitude and objectives in a fast-changing environment
    • the CIO must be a trusted partner of the Business

Profile

  • you dispose of a university degree or equivalent by experience
  • you have a proven experience in Digital/IT management
  • you dispose of the following technical/business skills:
    • strategy definition and argumention
    • ability to translate strategy into concrete roadmaps
    • ability to understand, challenge, transform business plans
    • technical knowledge related to the Digital/IT ecosystem
    • IS service management
    • IS program management
    • sourcing and contracting
    • vendor and supplier management
    • budgeting (Budget, PAMT,…)
    • planning & control
  • you dispose of the following behavioural skills:

    • taking initiative
    • entrepreneurship
  • you dispose of the following people management skills:
    • forming a (virtual) team
    • delegating

  • you are fluent in Dutch, French and English
