For the Product Portfolio Milk Quality & Animal Health (PP MQAH), chemical products are produced and distributed by the Division Chemicals in Drongen (Ghent). The Product Portfolio consists of udder hygiene products, hoof care products and detergents to be used by dairy farmers around the world.

To become part of the PP MQAH Innovation Team for the regions Europe, Africa & Asia, based in Drongen, who will be a key member of our team by:
Managing and executing European clinical and field tests to confirm product efficiency and support product sales and marking
Develop and present product and technical training to DeLaval sales organization, customers and industry through training sessions, webinars and newsletters
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination of field trials with newly developed experimental formulations
- Draw a field trial protocol with correct usage instructions, trial design, guidelines for collection of data and reporting
- Coordinate the production of test batch for field trials
- Perform all field trials or provide training to conduct a field trial
- Perform all field trials data statistical analysis
- Coordinate experimental product stability testing where appropriate
- Report trial results, problems related to experimental products and trial design deviations
TRAINING
- Provide training (on site, via the web or newsletters) to Product Management, Sales Companies and external advisors
- Provide training on existing products/technologies, new product introduction,
- Provide information on standard practices on the use of our product
Handle Technical Service requests regarding
- Non-routine claims, competitive product comparisons and new technology assessments
- Customer problems
Profiel
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Agro- and Biotechnology, Animal Health, Chemistry or veterinary
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience
- Experience in technical service cleaning and/or sanitizing, udder health and/or hoof disease
- Fluent communication in Dutch and English
- Experience in dairy animal health is a plus
- Willing to travel occasionally
- Ability to work independent
