Function
You will design, develop and maintain software tools used in the SW development process. As software engineer T&Q, you will be part of the Technology and Quality team of our R&D department

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Specify, develop and maintain software based on the project requirements (e.g. licensing engine, install scripts, download center, .)
• Create and run unit tests of own and potentially other software engineers' software
• Participate in peer code review
• Communicate with product managers, software engineers, trainers, demonstrators, . about the usage and innovation of the engineering support tools
• Exchange technical information with the other members of the engineering teams
• Contribute to the management of software engineering projects
• Stay updated on software technology and tools, and share the knowledge with your colleagues

Profile

• You have a Master degree in Information Technology
• Knowledge of C(++) and/or Java is required, knowledge of .NET and/or J2EE highly appreciated
• Experience with database design is certainly a plus. Preferably you have experience with network architecture.
• You are a true team player. You can rely on strong analytical skills and are a quick learner. Moreover you are service-minded and a good communicator
• You are able to communicate fluently in English
