Senior System Analyst

As a Senior System Analyst you deliver detailed system specifications to design information systems that are meeting business requirements and in line with the enterprise system architecture.
The Senior System Analyst:
-Produces or reviews and challenges detailed technical design deliverables
- Evaluates system alternatives and proposes the best Out of the Box solution.
- Reviews and assesses the supplier proposal from a technical & financial (workload) perspective.
- Defines all technical (including infrastructure) and operational impacts aiming at a successful integration of the solution in the IT landscape, balancing the overall TCO with the maximum flexibility for later change.
-Produces and controls the technical solution implementation.
- May develop or configure the system him/herself.
- Controls and monitors the quality of the supplier deliverables.
- Develops the integration test plan (for functional, performance and operability tests), supervises their execution and validates the outcome.
- Develops the acceptance test plan for performance and operability tests, supervises their execution and validates the outcomes.
- Prepares the deployment plan (fall back, dry run,…)
- Provides technical support during UAT and post launch babysitting.
- Ensures handover of the technical solution to the operational teams by providing the necessary trainings and documentation to operate the solution.
-Acts as application owner :
- Defines technical KPI’s to ensure follow-up of performance and capacity of the application.
- Defines and executives corrective action plan.
- Ensures 3rd level technical support on the application.
- Monitors market trends and software vendor roadmap evolution.
- Evaluates together with internal client and business analyst which of the new features is of interest for him.
- Based on this, defines application release upgrade strategy and contributes to yearly budget preparation.
-May manage projects when appointed as responsible for project delivery (depending on the project typology)
Profiel
University degree or equivalent through experience.
At least 5 years relevant IT experience of which min. 3 years analysis experience
