Senior system analyst – ESB Development Lead

Mobistar is looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and forward-thinking development lead who has accomplished significant achievements in leading a development team to join our growing Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) development center.
As the development lead of the ESB competence center you join a dynamic team work within the Mobistar IT department. At Mobistar the ESB is used as real time integration layer between applications exchanging XML messages and is using state of the art technology from IBM.
As development lead you will be the first liaison between the requestors and the ESB development team. You will be responsible to register the incoming development and support requests, maintain work plans and schedule.. You will have or build sufficient technical expertise on XML and Java development. For technical aspects you will work closely with the ESB technology expert.

You manage the ESB Competence Center roadmap
- You centralize all development and operational requests
- You assign the correct priorities to the request
- You maintain and communicate the roadmap and associated KPI’s
- You follow-up the development and support cycle and guarantee delivery as agreed with the business
You animate the development team
- You assign requests to the Team Members and manage the workload of the team
- You understand and improve the team dynamics
- You identify and address common team problems
- You identify competence gaps and propose a development plan
- You manage the resource plan and budget
You build consensus
- You facilitate a regular priority meeting with all stakeholder
- You build trust and rapport with key stakeholders
- You secure buy-in and commitment to project goals, roles and processing

Profiel
Expertise, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent by experience
Some years’ experience as development leader
Experience in IT development and/or IT operations
Developed analytical skills
Planning and organization skills
Communication and listening skills
Team player
Fluent in French or Dutch, and English. Combining all three languages is considered an extra asset.
Considered to be an asset
Scrum master certification
Experience in JAVA, XML, ESB developments
Experience with IBM datapower
Experience with real time systems.
