As a Quality Manager you ensure compliance with customer quality standards (e.g. ISO/TS 16949). You regularly travel to customer locations and build successful relationships with your customer base.
You understand and communicate product function and customer interface issues.
In close cooperation with internal and external customers you design and develop procedures to implement world class quality systems.
You interface with design/process engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and the customer to ensure the fulfillment of all quality requirements.
You also ensure the continuous improvement of the e. ectiveness of quality systems (e.g. COPQ, SPC, audits, performance results).
You also design and implement quality training programs to key personnel in the plant.
In addition you are responsible for followup and coordination of all customer related quality issues.
You lead a team of quality engineers and technicians.
Based on the obtained results you keep the management team informed of signifi cant issues or developments concerning quality.
You have a dual reporting relationship with the Plant Manager and the Quality Director.
You have an engineering degree in mechanics or electromechanics and you are a seasoned Quality Manager, preferably in automotive production sites or similar industries. You have good knowledge of a wide range of techniques (assembly, welding, stamping, machining, equipment, …).
You have at least 5 years of experience as a (people) manager, supervising technical personnel and complex activities in quality management.
You are a Lean thinker and you have good knowledge of TS norms, quality planning tools and quality systems.
You are certified in project management and familiar with process changes. You have excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities and you are selfmotivated and energetic.
Furthermore you are an innovative thinker and strong communicator who can work independently, yet still collaborate at all levels.
You have a perfect knowledge of English and Dutch.
