PROJECT PLANNING LEAD
Functieomschrijving
The Project Planning Lead is a member of the Engineering Team, playing a key role in the co-ordination, organization, and scheduling for 3 strategic projects at the plant:
• Responsible for maintaining the individual and overall integrated schedules for 3 key projects at the site
• Monitoring and updating of the Project Baseline schedule (Microsoft Project) and reporting against established baseline, including progress s-curves
• Liaise with all SME's bi-weekly to review progress/identify areas of concern, resource problems etc
• Chair planning meetings/develop micro schedules and mitigation plans with the teams for specific areas experiencing issues
• Analysis of critical path and reporting of same to management
• Ability to mitigate against project delays
• Providing monthly project schedule reports to project controls project management, Program Management and corporate management
• Provide Earned Value and KPI reports internally
• Obtain buy-in to the schedule from the whole project team and co-ordinate schedule interfaces between the different areas/departments
• Develop micro schedules for execution of critical project components.
Profiel
• 10 years of experience in planning and controls on major capital investment projects
• Expert knowledge in MS Project and MS Excel
• Third level qualification in a Science/Engineering/Business discipline
• Previous experience in both project planning and/or operations planning
• Extremely competent in MS Office – particularly MS Access & MS Office
• Good understanding of project lifecycle from start to finish on multi-disciplined projects is essential
• Previous experience within the Pharma / Bio industry essential
