Mechelen Arkelis, a SWIFT company, was founded in October 2010 after a successful acquisition by SWIFT of SunGard's Ambit Messaging Hub solution. Arkelis' mission is to provide enterprise-wide messaging solutions and services to SWIFT's high-volume customers.

Functional definition and coordination
You will define the product and its priorities depending on the input from Sales, existing customer needs and running customer projects in relation to the needs and requirements on the market, and always in line with the Arkelis strategy. You will do this within the functional domain of the AMH application, for which you will be responsible. You will determine the specifications and set up the functional requirements in such a way that R&D can create the technical design and develop what is expected. You will coordinate the releases by applying the SCRUM methodology. For this you will need to be in daily contact with R&D and continuously adjust the priorities. You will cooperate with colleagues from various disciplines. You will train the QA Engineers and discuss the necessary tests with them. You will prepare presentations to support Sales and Presales. You will give presentations to your customers' user groups. You will report directly to the Director of Product Management.
Profiel
Become an expert in the field of Swift messaging
You have experience as a Functional Analyst within a financial institution or a software implementer. Experience as a Product Manager is an advantage. Experience as a test or support engineer can be valuable as well. You possess an understanding of EAI or knowledge of SWIFT messaging and familiarity with the expectations of financial institutions in this field is an advantage. You are recognised as a strong coordinator able to retain a clear total overview and to make a realistic planning, making adjustments if necessary. You enjoy acquiring expertise in a specific domain. You have an excellent command of English. Your work will be based in Belgium (Mechelen).
