Functieomschrijving
The Product Manager Blood Glucose is part of the marketing team of the Business Unit Diabetes Care. The specific tasks are among others:
- You are responsible for developing product marketing plans within the existing marketing strategy for the product lines and prick blood glucose monitoring systems;
- You are responsible for the implementation and the control of these product plans and the communication to our sales and service department by developing the necessary supporting material;
- You will prepare the new product introduction as well as the development of the lifecycle portfolio for the existing plans;
- You will be responsible for the performance monitoring of the products and you will develop and implement corrective actions when necessary;
- You will develop the positioning and sales arguments at product level;
- You will be responsible for the logistical management of the assigned product (such as planning, manuals, forecasting, product documentation, …);
- You will keep close contact with the market and customer needs and you will identify their opportunities and communicate these to our marketing team;
- You have a strong knowledge of the competitive landscape and you will support our sales and customer service in product argumentation.
Profiel

- You have a bachelor or master degree or the equivalent in experience. Knowledge in the Diabetes Care environment is a plus.
- You have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position or in a sales representative function.
- You are client / sales oriented and result driven.
- You have strong project management skills.
- You have strong analytical abilities.
- You are entrepreneurial and hands on.
- You are a team player.
- Languages: Dutch, French and English.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office package, especially Excel.
