PROCESS ENGINEER
Functieomschrijving
The challenge: you will receive the responsibility, in co-operation with managers and collaborators, for the introduction, coordination and implementation of different projects and to establish lean-based processes in all functional areas of the organisation, at all sites, within agreed budget, time, quality and customer’s requirements.
Main tasks:
* Analysis of the various processes of the company’s value chain in order to identify present process flows, activities and areas for improvement.
* Identification of lean process improvement projects within each process and each functional area.
* Assistance of managers and collaborators with a) development of standard work procedures, b) procedures for controlled change management and c) implementation of cross-functional processes.
* Development of procedures and tools for lean implementation, as a handbook for lean implementation for the company.
* Development of practical and relevant KPI’s for lean processes within each functional area.
* Identification, organisation and implementation of Kaizen continuous improvement processes.
* Training of internal staff and employees in lean principles and processes, implementation and management of lean and Kaizen projects.
Profiel
Education: Industrial Engineer or equivalent by experience
Languages: Dutch and/or French and English.
Experience: You have experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of process analysis techniques (fe value stream mapping), optimisation techniques (such as SMED, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, VSM, 5S, TPM, Poka Yoke, Ishikawa,…) or work/activity analysis. You have knowledge of project management, MS office and ERP-systems.
