As Network Administrator, you will join the IT Infrastructure team within an international environment and maintain the datacenter. Your main focus will be on the installation, operation, support and maintenance of the network.
-Daily maintenance on the network with analyse and solving of possible networkproblems;
-Preparation and execution of network changes;
-Installation, configuration and documentation on the setup of new Cisco devices;
-Installation, configuration and daily management of our main IBM hardware;
-Set-up of virtualized servers, desktops and thin clients;
-Management of file and print servers;
-Daily server check-up tasks;
-Server hardware management: installation, configuration, support, follow-up;
-Executing planned interventions including patching;
-Install, configure and maintain test servers;
-Responsible for the second line helpdesk;
-Ensure first line support outside business hours (24/24 and 7/7 during 1 week/month)
By preference you have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science;
A first experience or an internship in IT infrastructure is an asset;
Cisco knowledge and experience is a benefit;
Good knowledge of Dutch, English and French;
You are a teamplayer with excellent communication skills;
You combine a high analytical intelligence with creative problem solving;
You are a fast learner and able to adopt new software easily;
You are immune to stress and you love to work in a structured way;
Short international business trips are not an issue for you.
