Our customer deliveres his high-tech products all-over the world. Because of the extreme safety regulations applicable on these products, the product test & validation is extremely important. To expand the team, we are looking for a Mechanical Test & Validation Engineer (m/f) who will be responsible for test execution using state-of-the-art test methodologies.

Functieomschrijving
- preparation of the tests ( test plan, test cases) and test execution
- calibration of the measurement equipment
- coordination of test done by external labo's, and particpate in certification test
- besides the standard basic tests, you will have to define and execute specific customized tests because every end-product will have some customized deviations from the standard product
- you will have to communicat internally with R&D and all other departments, but also external contacts will be necessary (with universities, subcontractors, suppliers, test organizations etc)
Profiel
- master level in Industrial Engineering (mechanics, electro-mechanical, applied physics)
- at least 3 years experience in a comparable functien (mechanics)
- some experience in customization of products
- professional knowledge of standards like FAA, ICAO, CE, EMC
- some knowledge of electronics, optics, software or other "engineering" fields is an asset
- good communication skills: ENG=must, Du or Fr= nice to have
- problem solver, initiative, eager to learn
