Are you a dynamic economist with a profound interest in risk management, regulation and macro-economics ?
KBC has the perfect job for you. As Group Risk Integrator you will contribute to several risk processes and reports meant for higher management, this in close cooperation with risk experts across KBC Group.
As this function is situated at Group level, you will cooperate with both Belgian and international colleagues in KBC’s different home markets (Czech and Slovak Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria + Ireland).What do we expect from you?
By way of example, you will be requested to:
- Contribute to integrated stress test exercises forecasting KBC’s performance in downturn macro-economic scenarios;
- Coordinate regulatory requests for information coming from our regulators ECB and NBB for which you will interact with other Group Functions (Group Credit Risk, Group Finance, Group Treasury), with local risk departments in the different countries or with specific domains such as Asset Management, Payments, Insurance, …;
- Write the yearly Risk Progress Report giving an overall view on the achievements of the Risk Function towards higher management;
- Capture and develop risk signals to be considered by higher management. Such risk signals include a.o. macro-economic developments and evolutions in regulation; …
The majority of your tasks have a clear link with many other colleagues from the Risk Function. This leads to a continuous interaction with specialists throughout the Group. You do not have to be a content expert yourself. A smooth cooperation with the specialists combined with good writing skills are your prime assets to help realizing integrated outputs across departments.
This position offers you quite some development perspective as it provides a unique and group wide helicopter view across banking and insurance activities, across the different risk types. Such a view is very rare to find within the bank sector.
