Provide the 1 support to end users . Investigate and troubleshoot all cases until a solution is found or ?when needed- escalate the case to tier 2 support teams.
Assign incoming requests to tier 2 support teams. Follow up and make sure these requests are dealt with properly according to our priorities + SLA.
Full administration of our caselogging system.
Provide weekly support reports to the IT Team Coordinator.
Assist the Sales + Distribution team with support + project tasks.
Assist the Network + Infrastructures team with support + project tasks.
Assist the Network + Infrastructures team with hardware + software management, maintenance + purchasing.
Assist the Web team with support tasks.
(Assist at) providing training to end users.
Profiel
Bachelor in IT
Any experience is considered a plus.
Broad-based IT knowledge yet specific expertise is not required.
Profound knowledge of common office applications (MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat...)
Profound knowledge of Win XP. Any experience with Win Vista, Linux + Mac is considered a plus.
Experience with database-oriented applications is required. SAP experience in specific is needed.
Experience with networking environments especially Cisco is a plus.
Experience with phone systems, especially Avaya is a plus.
