Function

The IT Software Architect is responsible for designing technical solutions for business systems and applications based on best practices and corporate standards in order to meet functional business requirements.

The IT Software Architect has the technical expertise for challenging the team of application engineers to devise creative technical solutions, shorten delivery schedules and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in the solutions offered.

Your main tasks will be:

• Translate functional and business requirements into a technical design for the business application engineers.
• Architect technical solutions, hereby scoping the integration effort required to implement the solution while keeping the overall architecture of business applications in mind.
• Confirm the requirements and wireframes with all project stakeholders.
• Serve as a technical expert responsible for the design and implementation of all business applications.
• Mentor the business application engineers.
• Act as a quality manager for all technical documentation related to the business applications, data warehouse, integration modules, etc.
• Conduct periodic status meetings to ensure business application engineers remain on task.

Profile

• Masters degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technology.
• Proven experience in the technical design and implementation of an enterprise architecture for an ERP application.
• 5+ years of experience in application development for an Enterprise environment including .?NET Framework 2.?0/?3.?5, XML, C#, IIS, and SQL.?
• Relational database design, SQL development experience, software development experience, interface development experience.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Familiarity with Service Oriented Architectures is a plus.
• Proficiency in Dutch & English.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong problem determination skills including root cause analysis.
