Our client specialized in the automotive sector, is located in the region of Cheshire (North England), and is currently looking for an:

Internal Auditor

Functieomschrijving

The Internal Auditor carries out audit missions in a team and in exceptional cases alone. The Internal Auditor is fully responsible for the execution of the following activities:

to prepare the working program for an audit for authorisation by the manager (including definition of audit objective and scope)
to perform audits according to the annual authorized audit plan and according to the quality standards including the gathering of information, investigation and analyses of information and data and to present and discuss the audit results to the entity/ company audited
to perform authorized special audits according to the quality standards including the gathering of information, investigation and analyses of information and data
to prepare report drafts
to perform and document Follow Ups of audits
to ensure the respect of the organizational guideline of Internal Audit, as well as the Audit Quality Standards (Audit Manual) and the information flow with the audit manager
support risk assessment in order to give input for the annual audit planning

Profiel

University degree in Engineering, Logistics, Production Techniques or similar qualifications
Specific certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or likewise welcomed
A first working experience in the area of Industrial Production, Logistics, Engineering is a plus
Advanced knowledge of English, other languages welcomed (e.g. French)
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Knowledge of audit software (e.g. ACL, CheckAud, Mind Manager) would be an advantage

Ability to analyse process risks and to suggest solutions (problem solving ability)
